CLAAS connect: Documentation

The CLAAS  connect package offers an ideal middle course: the machine is prepared for automatic steering, the QUANTIMETER (yield measurement) is already integrated. This represents a clear advantage for farms which want to measure and document yield data without investing in a complete steering solution straight away. Access to digital yield analysis is therefore already possible with this package.

The CLAAS  connect Professional package combines full steering functionality with GPS PILOT, CEMIS 1200 and precise yield measurement via the QUANTIMETER. This complete package is designed for users with the most demanding requirements with regard to automated control and precise documentation.

CLAAS connect Professional & NUTRIMETER: Documentation + Steering System + Precision Farming

A new addition to the range is the CLAAS  connect Professional  & NUTRIMETER package: along with the full GPS PILOT system, CEMIS 1200 and the QUANTIMETER (yield measurement), the new NUTRIMETER (near infrared sensor) is now also integrated. This system measures the dry matter / crop moisture content in real time.

This package includes constituent measurement for maize. Dedicated constituent measurement functions for other crops (grass, whole crop silage, lucerne) are available separately.

NEW: The portable housing makes it easy to transfer the unit for use in multiple machines.

NUTRIMETER:

The new NUTRIMETER is a precise sensor for measurement of dry matter and constituents on the spot in the field. NEW: The portable housing makes it easy to transfer the unit for use in multiple machines.

Within the CLAAS connect package, it forms the basis for precise documentation and visualisation of the crop. With automatic length-of-cut control and precise silage additive dosage, forage quality is assured.

CLAAS maize picker adapter for the JAGUAR:

The CLAAS adapter for harvesting maize cob silage allows a combine harvester maize picker to be attached to the JAGUAR. The newly developed intake drum design increases the harvest yield of maize cob silage by up to 30 % (internal measurement in comparison to competitors).

Used in combination with the integrated AUTO CONTOUR function, the maize picker is able to maintain a consistent stubble height in uneven terrain, harvest losses are kept to a minimum and forage quality is improved to a significant degree. The adapter is ideal for high throughput rates and high-performance, cost-effective production of maize cob silage.

Silage quality.

Precise dosage with the CLAAS silage additive app.

Using the silage additive characteristics and the type of crop as a basis, the app helps you find the correct settings to deliver the required daily dosage, taking account of the capacity of the chosen tank. Once the manufacturer's recommended silage additive instructions and the key data of the JAGUAR been entered, the app calculates the precise dosage for the crop and the harvesting process. The silage additive app is available through CLAAS connect for Android and Apple.

Lighting as bright as day.

LED work lights on the cab roof and at the rear turn night into day for you. The LED spotlight on the discharge chute pivots with the crop flow.

Automatic control of the upper discharge chute.

AUTO FILL is based on digital 3D image analysis. The system takes care of controlling the upper discharge chute for you. With AUTO FILL, discharging to the rear is now also automated.

Optimal engine load with CRUISE PILOT.

The automatic control of the ground speed by CRUISE PILOT allows the programmed engine load to be used to the full. The operator specifies the desired engine load in CEBIS by setting the corresponding engine speed. CRUISE PILOT is activated easily by means of the control lever. The JAGUAR now adjusts its performance to operate at the set engine load all the time. If the crop suddenly becomes more dense, the ground speed is reduced automatically. If the crop density diminishes again, the JAGUAR increases the ground speed until the preset engine load is attained. This automatic adjustment is based on the detection of the throughput and the engine load.

CEBIS touchscreen.

The new CEBIS terminal reacts to a simple tap on the touchscreen. You have direct access to all the machine functions – e.g. to favourites management.

CMOTION favourites management.

You can program seven settings as favourites and access them by rocker switches on the CMOTION control lever. You can therefore concentrate on watching the front attachment and crop flow while your hand remains on the CMOTION control lever – when raising/lowering the upper discharge chute, for example.

CEBIS rotary/push switch and pushbuttons.

Using the rotary/push switch with the Escape and Favourites buttons, you can easily navigate the CEBIS control panel, even when operating in bumpy terrain, to perform tasks such as sharpening the knives or adjusting the shear bar.

The chopping mechanism is driven directly from the engine main clutch via a pre-tensioned powerband – entirely maintenance-free
The disc brake attached to the main clutch ensures that the chopping mechanism stops rapidly when the main drive is switched off, thereby enhancing safety, QUICK STOP
The direct drive enables highly efficient power transmission while also keeping the specific power requirement low – high efficiency
The front attachment is driven mechanically, the connection is provided by a quick coupling – extremely convenient
