Since 2003, CLAAS has invested more than €80 million in expanding and modernizing its tractor plant in Le Mans. Construction is currently underway for a new multifunctional production facility, where components for new tractors will be manufactured. Meanwhile, production of the AXION 9 CMATIC, which was unveiled at Agritechnica, commenced in February 2026.

CLAAS, through its Corporate Venture Capital unit Seed Green Innovations, has made a strategic investment in Pheno-Inspect, a German AgTech startup specializing in AI-driven, image-based agronomic field analysis. The pioneering technology enables a significant acceleration of data-driven processes in agriculture.

One year after opening a new prototype workshop, CLAAS yesterday inaugurated two new assembly lines at its Metz-Woippy baler site. This investment is essential for the production of new baler series, such as the CEREX round baler and the next-generation square baler CUBIX, Innovation Award winner in Gold at Agritechnica 2025. It sets up the manufacturing site for future growth in balers. 

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ASABE) has honored two groundbreaking innovations from CLAAS with AE50 Awards: the JAGUAR 1000 forage harvester series and the ORBIS 10500 corn header. The official award ceremony will take place in February 2026 at the ASABE Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.

The CLAAS Group has successfully concluded the 2025 fiscal year (as of September 30, 2025) in a challenging market environment. Despite global consumer reluctance and volatile markets, the family-owned company was able to strengthen its position and set an important course for the future. The focus was on a broad product push, strategic investments in the global production network, and the consistent further development of digital solutions.

Faced with fierce competition, the new AXION 9.450 TERRA TRAC from CLAAS prevailed against four competitors this year to win the coveted Tractor of the Year Award in the HighPower category. In addition to its unique tractor concept, the award-winning features included intelligent solutions in the areas of driver assistance and machine optimisation, comprehensive digital connectivity and the newly developed, quiet cab. 

CLAAS is presenting its new AXION 9 large tractor series as a world premiere at Agritechnica. These cover a power range from 330 to 450 hp and feature a new, noise-reduced cab with a maximum noise level of 66 db(A) and a volume of 3 cubic metres, a new CEBIS connect terminal, new drivetrain management, efficient engines and powerful hydraulics. In addition, the AgXeed Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) enables fully automated operation with pre-planned work orders in accordance with Autonomy Level 2.

CLAAS is presenting the new ARION 6 series with an emotional design and new comfort features at Agritechnica. The exclusive comfort features include premium driver's seats with massage function, a high-end multimedia system with wireless smartphone connection and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, as well as a new lighting concept. The top-of-the-range ARION 6.190 CMATIC model will initially be introduced and offered alongside the ARION 660 CMATIC at the start of the new model series in 2026.

As one of the world's leading manufacturers of agricultural balers, CLAAS is presenting a next-generation square baler with AI-supported bale density control, a revolutionary drive concept and an innovative double-loop knotter for the first time at Agritechnica 2025. The new CUBIX stands for maximum bale densities and groundbreaking precision in bale weights, combined with hourly outputs of up to 70 tonnes.

The new JAGUAR 1200 from CLAAS has set a new official world record in forage harvesting, harvesting 4,096 tonnes of whole crop silage in 12 hours. In addition to the harvesting performance, the efficiency was also record-breaking with just 0.49 litres of fuel consumption per tonne of silage harvested.

At Agritechnica 2025, CLAAS will be presenting the production-ready TORION 537e SINUS, a six-tonne class wheel loader with a locally emission-free battery-electric drive. It combines the outstanding features of SINUS steering with an innovative electric drive and will complement the product range in the material handling segment from 2026.

CLAAS is presenting four new NEXOS 2 CMATIC models at Agritechnica 2025, its first narrow-track tractors with continuously variable transmission. The models are available in four variants with a minimum external width of 1.0 to 1.55 metres and complement the product range alongside the NEXOS 2 COMFORT with TWINSHIFT powershift. With the newly developed multifunctional armrest, this has enabled seat-integrated, ergonomic machine operation to find its way into the CLAAS NEXOS 2 CMATIC.

With the new DISCO 1100 DIRECT SWATHER, CLAAS is adding another model with variable swathing to its range of large-scale mowers. The mower combination with a working width of 10.70 m works without a conditioner, with conical swathing augers for four placement strategies and is currently the largest mounted mower with swath merging available on the market.

For the 2026 season, the NUTRIMETER GRAIN will be the first new transmissive NIR sensor for yield and ingredient determination available on the LEXION. This opens up new possibilities for sustainability-oriented and resource-efficient cultivation and the targeted marketing of high-quality grain, particularly with regard to the precise determination of protein and oil content and yield mapping.

Three months after unveiling the new JAGUAR 1000 series with up to 1,110 hp, CLAAS is presenting two front attachments with a wider design at Agritechnica. The new ORBIS 12000 will be on display at the CLAAS stand in Hall 13, while the DIRECT DISC 8400 will be on show in the outdoor area.

Following a successful market launch in North America and Australia, CLAAS is now making the new CONVIO FLEX 1530 available to European LEXION customers. The flexible draper cutterbar has an effective working width of 15.30 metres and is equipped with a flexible knife bar as well as all the features and automatic functions familiar from the CONVIO FLEX series.

The CLAAS site in Bad Saulgau is being continuously modernised and expanded under the project name ForageGO! To date, more than €50 million has been invested in the site infrastructure, production facilities and a new logistics centre with a total of 9,600 m2 as part of the project.

CLAAS is introducing the new CEMOS AUTO KNIFE CONDITION as a world first in the JAGUAR 900 as the first production-ready operator assistance system for monitoring the wear condition of the knives in the forage harvester. In addition, the new NUTRIMETER is now also available for the JAGUAR 900 series. At the same time, GREEN EYE packages for the JAGUAR 900 and JAGUAR 800 bundle equipment for maximum comfort, top performance and minimum wear at attractive prices. Other new features include an adapter for ROVIO maize pickers and a new tyre pressure control system for the steering axle.

Following the roll-out of CLAAS connect in over 50 countries since the end of 2024, CLAAS is continuously expanding the range of functions of the cloud-based digital ecosystem. At the upcoming Agritechnica, CLAAS connect will therefore also be at the centre of the innovations on display - with four stations on the more than 5,500 square metre CLAAS stand in Hall 13. At the same time, CLAAS is introducing new functions on the CEMIS 1200 terminal.

With a Gold Agritechnica Innovation Award and four Silver Medals, CLAAS once again emphasises its strength in innovation as the largest family-owned agricultural machinery company. The groundbreaking new products in the fields of balers, maize harvesters, and tractors, along with a collaboration in mechanical chopping, further enhance performance and efficiency while reducing operator workload.

Artificial intelligence offers enormous potential for increasing productivity, efficiency, work quality and work assistance, especially in the complex processes of agriculture. CLAAS is now joining the Innovation Park AI (IPAI) to enable far-reaching technical advances in the development of agricultural machinery through the sustainable and responsible use of AI.

CLAAS presents four new forage harvesters from the JAGUAR 1000 series, which enable throughput capacities of up to 500 tonnes per hour with the widest crop flow on the market, new front attachments and pioneering driver assistance. The JAGUAR 1000 also defines a new level of operating and driving comfort - true to the motto "Inspired by the best". 

In its 30th anniversary year, CLAAS is giving the LEXION high-performance combine harvester a makeover and introducing an additional model. The main changes are to the grain tank volume, engine power and cab. The LEXION 7500, LEXION 8700 and LEXION 6800 are also getting new engines.

With the CEREX 700 RC series, CLAAS is taking the performance of round balers to a new level. Developed for professionals and the highest demands, it will complement the CLAAS product range of variable round balers above the VARIANT 500 and combines maximum throughput capacity with impressive bale density - with unprecedented efficiency and maximum versatility in silage, straw, hay and hemp.

One year after launching the ROLLANT 630 RC UNIWRAP, CLAAS is now presenting the ROLLANT 630 RC as a solo baler. With a chamber diameter of 1.25 m and a 25 knife cutting rotor, it is positioned above the ROLLANT 520 and impresses not only with more power, but also greater operator comfort and lower operating costs thanks to its reinforced arm and optimised ease of maintenance in drive areas subject to particular stress.

In 1996, the VARIANT 180 from CLAAS set new standards in terms of powerful round baler technology. 30 years and numerous innovations later, the VARIANT 500 achieves a significant performance boost thanks to the new MULTIFLOW and MULTIFLOW HD pick-up and impresses with a double-digit percentage increase in throughput.

CLAAS is now incorporating the experience gained from more than 250,000 CLAAS mowers into the latest generation of DISCO CONTOUR disc mowers. At the same time, new equipment such as a counterweight, the double roller drive on the RC models and a steel roller conditioner are being introduced to the series, which ranges from 2.60 to 4.20 metres working width.

CLAAS is renewing its DISCO 1100 BUSINESS large-scale mowers with working widths of 9.70 to 10.70 m and is introducing steel rollers as a third conditioner option as a strong alternative to the familiar polyurethane rollers. Another new feature is the double roller drive for the two RC versions.

With the new SCORPION 848 with its VARIPOWER PLUS drive and 156 hp, CLAAS is closing the gap between the 756 and 960 models, extending the telehandler product range to nine models.

CLAAS is introducing three new SUNSPEED headers with working widths from 7.50 to 11.90 metres for row-independent sunflower harvesting. These are fully integrated into the CEBIS operating system and are characterised by a wide range of adjustment options.

CLAAS breaks ground for a new multifunctional production facility in Le Mans. The investment of 6.5 million euros will strengthen the site and at the same time invest in the growth of the CLAAS Group.

Following the successful introduction of the NIGHT EDITION for selected models of the ARION 500, ARION 600, AXION 800 and AXION 900 tractor series, CLAAS is launching a NIGHT EDITION for four SCORPION telehandlers in spring 2025.

The Bad Saulgau site recently celebrated an important milestone: the 250,000th mower built by CLAAS rolled off the production line, hot on the heels of the launch of a new generation of CLAAS front mowers featuring a new design and, for FRC models, the optional double roller drive.

CLAAS has extended its range of agricultural tractors with the addition of the AXOS 3 series. With their powerful, efficient engines, large wheels, high payload and generously proportioned cab from a maximum height to the upper edge of the roof of 2.50 m, these compact tractors are positioned between the ARION 400 and the AXOS 200.

CLAAS has extended the ARION 500 series with the addition of the ARION 570 CMATIC featuring a genuine 180 hp and a range of innovative functions with the focus on maximising customer benefits. The powerful four-cylinder engine with continuously variable, split-power CLAAS CMATIC transmission is also available in the NIGHT EDITION.

CLAAS is carrying out pioneering work in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and has joined forces with CertifAI to address the technical and regulatory challenges in this area. The partnership draws on CertifAI's expertise in AI testing and compliance to ensure that AI applications from CLAAS adhere to the highest development standards. Through this collaboration, CLAAS aims to satisfy its own exemplary quality standards and promote trust in its AI-driven solutions.

CLAAS successfully navigated a tough industry environment and concluded the 2024 financial year with a solid result. Sales at the end of the fiscal year on 30 September 2024 amounted to 5.0 billion euros, a decrease of 19% compared to the previous year. The operating profit before depreciation (EBITDA) reached 584 million euros after 769 million euros in the previous year. The net income for the year was 253 million euros (previous year: 347 million euros). Tight producer prices and elevated interest rates posed considerable challenges for the agricultural sector. Additionally, severe weather conditions and geopolitical tensions have introduced substantial uncertainty, leading farmers and contractors to hesitate in making purchases. These special effects characterized the business development of the agricultural machinery sector in the 2024 financial year.

AgXeed has been awarded the inaugural TOTYBot award at the EIMA International agricultural machinery exhibition in Bologna, Italy. This year's new Tractor of the Year (TOTY) category recognises ground-breaking, market-ready autonomous vehicles for agricultural and plantation work.

Exactly two years after launching the NEXOS 200 COMFORT specialised tractors, CLAAS is unveiling a revised version with a new four-pillar cab, updated design and enhanced comfort and automatic functions at the Italian agricultural machinery show EIMA.

CLAAS has raised the bar even higher in terms of chopping quality, efficiency, reliability and comfort with the introduction of several new technologies for forage harvesters. JAGUAR customers can now take advantage of new options such as the V-FLEX chopping cylinder and CSPS analysis via CLAAS connect, as well as various improvements to the crop flow and drive provided as standard.

Following its exciting launch at Agritechnica 2023 and having been awarded the Farm Machine Award and an Agritechnica silver medal, the 3A – ADVANCED AUTOMATION & AUTONOMY group is engaged in open exchange with other manufacturers as well as with the AEF (Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation). As a result of the discussions that have taken place, there is broad consensus to drive forward the standardisation process under the umbrella of the AEF.

At Agritechnica 2023, CLAAS, AgXeed and thermal DRONES presented a joint project that combined wildlife protection with autonomous grass mowing. But others areas of application in the harvest chain could prove suitable for the use of autonomous tractors and AgBots. Existing technology requires further development in close cooperation with vehicle and implement manufacturers to permit the use of large working widths.

For the past two years, the Bad Saulgau site has been undergoing an extensive programme of restructuring and expansion under the project name ForageGO!

DISCO large-scale mowers have been setting standards for area output, durability and efficiency for 25 years.

CLAAS as handling partner and official supplier of the “24 Hours Le Mans”, is proud to announce its first successful participation to one of the world's most prestigious races with the SCORPION 741 VARIPOWER 2. During the event, the agile CLAAS telescopic handlers fully carried out some sixty trackside operations. 

CLAAS is celebrating half a million combine harvesters built since 1936 – and is producing several anniversary LEXION, TRION, EVION and DOMINATOR machines at three locations on three continents. These will be on display at trade fairs, field days and demonstrations in the coming weeks and months.

The XERION 12 Series from CLAAS has won numerous international awards since its launch in summer 2023. And now the most powerful CLAAS tractor ever has been named among the winners of the iF Design Awards 2024.

At the start of 2024 CLAAS was named official supplier to the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO), the organiser of the '24 Hours of Le Mans' endurance race.

The XERION 12 Series from CLAAS has scored a hat-trick: after winning Tractor of the Year 2024 and Farm Machine 2024 (high-horsepower tractor category), the tractors from Harsewinkel launched in the USA in summer 2023 have also now won the AE50 Award.

No fewer than seven CLAAS product innovations are among this year's winners of the AE50 Award from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ASABE). The award ceremony was held in February 2024 at the ASABE Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.

The CLAAS Group ended the 2023 financial year with excellent results.
