The high engine output of up to 1,110 hp is ideally matched to this increased performance capacity. New, robust PICK UP and ORBIS front attachments allow perfect adaptation to harvest conditions and length-of-cut requirements. The new JAGUAR 1000 series sets standards for throughput and flexibility. With crop flow increased by 20 % and engine output perfectly matched to it, the machine has exceptionally high throughput capacity. This means: maximum efficiency for all lengths of cut.

910 mm wide V-FLEX chopping cylinder.

A particularly notable new development in this model is the use of a second, independent drive for the ORBIS intake drums which makes for a very even crop feed. The fully hydraulic pre-compression ensures optimum compression of the crop ahead of the 910 mm wide V-FLEX chopping cylinder. This increases the throughput and, complemented by the high rotational mass of the V-FLEX chopping cylinder, leads to a smooth crop flow. As a result, crop patterns such as irregular swaths are simply swallowed up.

The CLAAS JAGUAR 1000 series impresses with its excellent chop quality. The fully hydraulic pre-compression, which is unaffected by the material feed height, is automatically adjusted to the crop in question and delivers consistently high quality across different lengths of cut and crops. The V-FLEX chopping cylinder with its precise and clean cutting action produces uniform chopped material.

Improved crop flow.

The newly developed second, independent drive for the ORBIS maize front attachment makes it possible for the speed of the transport discs to be varied independently of the intake drums. This results in a very even crop transfer to the pre-compression rollers for all lengths of cut. An ideal transfer to the pre-compression rollers is also enabled in the PICK UP by the hydraulic pre-compression performed by the intake auger. This results in an even crop flow for optimum chop quality. In keeping with the QUICK ACCESS principle, the pre-compression roller housing swings open by about 80° to provide easy access to the wide chopping cylinder for maintenance tasks. The maintenance function allows the pre-compression rollers to be raised hydraulically for cleaning.

Fully hydraulic pre-compression.

The new fully hydraulic pre-compression system of the JAGUAR 1000 series plays a major role in optimising throughput and chop quality. The advantage of this system is that the pre-compression is unaffected by the material feed height and is automatically adjusted to the crop and the length of cut. The crop is fed to the chopping cylinder precisely on the basis of the throughput. The result is uniform chop quality at all times and a particularly even crop flow.

V-FLEX chopping cylinder for uniform chopped material.

The JAGUAR 1000 series offers full flexibility and maximum throughput for all lengths of cut. With a width of 910 mm and a high rotational mass, the V-FLEX chopping cylinder ensures a strong, consistent and smooth crop flow. Even irregular swaths are dealt with effortlessly and are simply "swallowed up". The V-FLEX knives are notable for the depth of their wear coating and their resulting long service life. It is their precise, sharp cutting action that allows the chopping cylinder to deliver uniform chopped material while the steep 10° knife angle makes the cutting action even more efficient. Half-section knives, used to double the length of cut, also produce chopped material of excellent quality and make the machine exceptionally versatile. Water injection, which can be enabled when sharpening knives under extremely dry conditions, makes for highly reliable operation. This ensures trouble-free harvesting and high daily output.

MULTI CROP CRACKER XL.

The MULTI CROP CRACKER XL with a 310 mm diameter roller, and therefore a large contact area, provides excellent crop and kernel processing. Using the AI-controlled CLAAS connect application, you can determine the degree of kernel processing extremely quickly. You can then use the CSPS score on the spot in the field to optimise the machine settings while harvesting is underway.

Wider crop accelerator.

The new, wide crop accelerator in the CLAAS JAGUAR 1000 series can be counted on to discharge all crops reliably. When the crop is being discharged into a transport vehicle running alongside, energy can be saved during the transfer process by adjusting the distance of the crop accelerator to the back panel to as much as 60 mm. The gap setting can be varied automatically from the comfort of the cab: narrow for a powerful throw when starting chopping or wide for fuel-saving discharging to the side. This flexibility saves energy, reduces wear and ensures maximum efficiency in every situation.

Mobile NIR sensor.

The CLAAS NUTRIMETER mobile NIR sensor can determine the forage quality in real time on the basis of the dry matter content and constituents. This information can be used for automatic adjustment of the length of cut and silage additive dosage.

Larger discharge spout.

The discharge spout of the JAGUAR 1000 series has been enlarged for the wider crop flow and can be operated very easily and conveniently from the cab. Automatic discharge spout rotation and AUTO FILL reduce the operator's workload. The new discharge spout design makes adaptation for different front attachment working widths easier by allowing the end section of the spout to be simply substituted. When wide front attachments, such as the new ORBIS, are used, the discharge spout is automatically swivelled, folded and then stowed compactly on the spout support. Changing over from grass to maize harvesting is also extremely easy: only a few manual adjustments are required to adapt the discharge spout to the working width. In preparation for road travel, the discharge spout returns automatically to the parking position at the touch of a button. In this way, changeovers between work and transport mode are performed quickly and easily.

The CLAAS JAGUAR 1000 series impresses with its exceptional comfort and convenience and its intuitive control system. The spacious cab offers excellent all-round visibility thanks to the large side windows, while the low noise level creates a pleasant working atmosphere. The ergonomic control system enables easy and convenient operation, especially with the new joystick steering.

Enhanced comfort.

The comfortable workplace now has noticeably more storage space and compartments and provides the operator with an optimum view. Visibility to the sides and towards the discharge spout is perfect thanks to the large and high side windows. The generously sized steps and the large door enable easy access. Foot rests and a number of seat variants, including seat heating and ventilation functions, maximise operator comfort. The premium windscreen wiper with integrated screenwash spray maintains a clear view, even in very difficult harvesting conditions.

Improved accessibility.

Optimum accessibility simplifies maintenance tasks on the new JAGUAR 1000. In keeping with the QUICK ACCESS principle, the pre-compression roller housing swings open by 80° to provide fast access to the chopping cylinder. An automatic function allows the pre-compression rollers to be raised for cleaning. Large side panels enable easy access – for installing and removing the corncracker, for example, or for cleaning the three large air filters without the need for tools. The discharge spout is also designed for easy adaptation to different working widths simply by fitting the appropriate spout extension. A handrail around the cab facilitates access to the discharge spout. The JAGUAR 1000 series also excels when it comes to enabling maintenance to be performed safely. A particularly useful example is the locking function which, at the touch of a button on the exterior of the machine, allows the front attachment to be secured against unintended lowering when maintenance work is being carried out underneath it. When work extends into the hours of darkness, LED maintenance lighting provides the necessary illumination in, on and around the JAGUAR. All these functions keep downtime to a minimum, thereby allowing field work to be completed more quickly.

The CLAAS JAGUAR 1000 series is extremely efficient, both at work in the field and in transit on the road. It stands out above all for its ability to reconcile high area output with low fuel consumption. Intelligent and automatic engine speed monitoring by CEMOS AUTO CROP FLOW keeps the harvesting process running smoothly and safely. Efficiency and area output are increased by the extension of the working width to as much as 10.50 m – with the ORBIS 10500, for example.

Operator assistance systems, such as CEMOS AUTO PERFORMANCE reduce the operator's workload. In order to increase efficiency and reduce diesel consumption, the JAGUAR maintains the set speed of the diesel engine and adjusts the engine output and ground speed on the basis of the volume harvested.

DYNAMIC COOLING.

The intelligent DYNAMIC COOLING system cools the powerful engine of the JAGUAR 1000 series on demand and only to the extent actually necessary. Sensors measure the temperature of the coolant, hydraulic oil and charge air, the resulting data being used to determine the fan speed. An extractor system cleans the radiator screen continuously during field work and road travel. The vertical cooling system of the JAGUAR 1000 is designed for operation in regions where temperatures reach up to 50°C. DYNAMIC COOLING delivers additional fuel savings and reduces energy consumption while allowing the engine to deliver its full output at all times during long days in the field, thereby enabling maximum throughput.

The powerful engine output of up to 1,110 hp is ideally matched to the 20 % wider crop flow and can be counted on to sustain high throughput. The engine output is converted into throughput efficiently and continuously. CEMOS AUTO CROP FLOW intelligent automatic engine speed monitoring supports the forage harvester at all times during its deployment, increasing efficiency and reducing diesel consumption. The CEMOS AUTO PERFORMANCE engine and ground drive management system reduces the operator's workload and delivers consistent throughput extremely efficiently during the entire harvest. The JAGUAR 1000 also adapts automatically to adverse and challenging harvesting conditions. The series comprises four models: the JAGUAR 1080 with 850 hp is the entry-level model. The JAGUAR 1090 develops 925 hp, followed by the JAGUAR 1100 with 1,020 hp. The range is topped by the JAGUAR 1200 with 1,110 hp.
