Our journey towards automony

Time for Plan A.

Autonomous agricultural machinery

Future autonomous agricultural machinery for more efficiency, precision and productivity.

The agricultural sector is facing major challenges: rising costs, labour shortages and increasingly narrow time frames. Intelligent machines help farmers and contractors organise their work more efficiently, optimise settings automatically and use resources purposefully. Step by step, a new collaboration between human and machine is evolving – on the road towards autonomous work processes.

High automation for higher per-hectare performance

Automated systems from CLAAS are already helping farmers with many tasks: take CEMOS for example; it optimises machine settings, automatically adjusts the driving speed and power output to the crop and ensures precise harvesting and tillage operations. Steering systems, sensors and intelligent assistance functions too are increasingly taking on repetitive tasks and controlling machine processes automatically. As workflows from field to harvest become fully automated, machines will be continuously operating at the optimum level: efficient, resource-friendly and with consistently high quality.

The next step in autonomous agriculture.

Many farms are facing the same challenge: a shortage of skilled labour combined with the need to manage large fields efficiently. Autonomous systems offer new solutions to this problem: in future driverless machines will run across the field executing planned tasks autonomously. The journey starts with semi-autonomous functions with the operator remaining onboard to monitor operations and intervene at any time if required. Moving towards the future of farming, one step at a time.

Seven myths about CLAAS connect – and why they don't add up.

CLAAS connect is the perfect tool for precision farming, connected farm management and digital routine work. The benefits for processes and wallets are wide-ranging – as are the myths that cause people to have misgivings. Time to bust them.

Efficient harvesting at all times with the LEXION.

Tight time frames, high energy costs: Lutz Scheibler from the Agrar Union Poppendorf needs big, bold machines for his 5,500 hectares on the Baltic Coast. So he swears by his LEXION 8900 with VARIO 1380 and CEMOS AUTOMATIC.
