Tractive & operational efficiency

Minimal consumption with maximum yield? Challenge accepted.

Power, performance and versatility are the hallmarks of a good tractor. The innovative, continuously variable CMATIC transmission from CLAAS goes one step further. It makes handling the tractor easier and more comfortable. So you automatically drive more efficiently – every time, every job.

Up to your challenges.

Full power, low speed?

Challenge accepted. High area output combined with low fuel consumption is the key to profitable arable farming. CLAAS tractors combine high tractive power with low fuel consumption. The intelligent low-speed concept increases your efficiency by reducing fuel consumption in all your operations – whether you need maximum driving speed or a constant working speed.

The CEMOS machine optimisation system ensures that you always find the right settings and use the lowest possible fuel consumption. As a result, you can reduce fuel consumption by up to 16 percent while increasing your area output. This has been confirmed in a field test by the DLG (German Agricultural Society), an independent testing organisation.

The right settings at all times?

Challenge accepted. Of course, a tractor seldom drives unaccompanied. It must be able to adapt precisely, not only to the driver, but also to the implements. This is where the CMATIC transmission comes in: it allows the working speed to be adjusted quickly, easily and continuously to the requirements of the implement. This increases your area output and reduces fuel consumption at the same time. The fully automatic transmission control requires no driver intervention and enables you to produce top quality results whatever the conditions – so you get the most out of your work with a CMATIC tractor.

Maximum soil protection with heavy machinery?

Challenge accepted. With CEMOS machine optimisation, CLAAS tractors think for themselves even while work is underway. The system suggests to the driver how the tractor and many implements can be optimised to increase efficiency or performance while protecting the soil. This makes it easier than ever to select the optimal ballasting, tyre pressure and machine settings. CEMOS also displays the risk of soil compaction based on current driving conditions using a simple traffic light system.

CEMOS drivers are unbeatable. In addition to the soil-friendly optimisations offered by CEMOS, the various models in the AXION and XERION series – the most powerful CLAAS tractors – are also available with the TERRA TRAC crawler tracks developed by CLAAS. The TERRA TRAC crawler tracks create a large contact area for power transmission that is gentle on the soil and easy to manoeuvre on narrow roads. The TERRA TRAC crawler tracks on the rear axle of the AXION 900 or all four TERRA TRAC tracks on the XERION 12 Series models provide sufficient ground contact and traction for soil-friendly propulsion, combined with unrivalled driving comfort.

Precise applications even in complex fields?

Challenge accepted. For operations such as seeding, fertilising or crop protection, you need a tractor that helps you think and, above all, steer. The CEMIS 1200 Smart Farming terminal for CLAAS tractors is the perfect on-board assistant for easing the operator's workload during long working days. In addition to a wide range of automatic steering options, the CEMIS 1200 also offers ISOBUS control of your implements and easy job management and documentation – online straight from the office to the machine and back.

And no matter how awkwardly shaped your fields, the CEMIS 1200 terminal provides application map to ensure optimal spreading of seeds and fertiliser. With variable application rates and automatic section control, every plant gets what it needs – even when conditions vary across the field.

For Anna from Southern Germany, it's all about getting the right balance. Maximum power is a must – but the numbers have to add up.

"Economical on fuel, but not on performance – that's what a tractor should be."

Anna,

Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Anna has grown up with dairy and arable farming and understands what's involved. To operate economically on such a scale, you need tractors that are fuel-efficient even when working under high pressure or at peak performance. So Anna recommends an ARION 660 CMATIC, which offers the best of both worlds: always ready for rapid road transfers or complex mowing operations – while saving money in the long-term.
