Ride comfort & ease of operation

User-friendly control and a high level of comfort? Challenge accepted.

Agricultural applications are becoming increasingly complex and working days ever longer. All the more reason to create a comfortable, user-friendly working environment that relieves the operator's workload.

Up to your challenges.

Ergonomic controls?

Challenge accepted. Long hours at work can be tiring. That’s why the operating concept in the cab should be ergonomic and simple. With the CMOTION multifunction lever, CLAAS tractors offer the driver the easiest handling imaginable. This ergonomic lever is perfect for long working days. A honeycomb lever surface provides continuous ventilation, while the low position of the CMOTION control lever ensures that the driver’s arm can rest in a comfortable position.

Work with one hand?

Challenge accepted. All buttons on the CMOTION can be intuitively operated with one hand. The buttons are positioned within optimum reach of the thumb, index finger and middle finger, ensuring maximum efficiency when accessing the various functions.

Adapt quickly to any task?

Challenge accepted. With freely assignable function buttons on the CMOTION multifunction lever, drivers can assign the tractor or ISOBUS implement functions they need to the buttons they want. What’s more, the driver doesn’t have to get used to a different control layout when changing machines. This is because the CEBIS equipment with CMOTION on your CLAAS tractor offers the same logical structure as on CLAAS harvesters – from the ARION to the LEXION.

Shift your mind?

Challenge accepted. On many CLAAS tractors, the CMATIC transmission enables continuously variable operation, without interruptions to the power flow and without shift jumps. This allows you to work at the optimum driving and engine speed for every application – so you can concentrate fully on your work. The principle is simple: the tractor always does exactly what you want it to do.

It also includes active powered zero: take your foot off the gas, and the tractor stops exactly where you want it to, without you having to out your foot on the brake. The fully suspended, quiet cab absorbs bumps to ensure a smooth ride. You only need to make important adjustments once, rather than constantly readjusting them while driving. The sprung suspension of the TERRA TRAC crawler tracks reduces vibrations during everyday work, which in turn reduces wear and tear on the machine – producing a level of ride comfort that feels as though you're gliding on rails.

For Victorien from Normandy, France, tractors are constantly challenged by new tasks and they must be equipped to deal with them. And as complexity increases, the driver wants to be able to relax and rely on the machine.

"A good tractor should demand little from the driver even during complex operations. In fact, it should provide an environment which makes work as agreeable as possible."

Victorien,

Normandy, France.

Beef and dairy farms are the dominant form of agriculture where Victorien comes from, so forage production is widespread. At the same time, the region has a topographically diverse landscape. Which makes many fields a challenge to cultivate. So Victorien is clear about one thing: the machine must be able to keep up if he is to stay relaxed. With the intuitive control concept in the ARION 400 or the convenient CMATIC continuously variable transmission in the ARION 500, for example, he is perfectly set up.
