David Lalonnier is a farmer in France's Vendée département. Wheat, maize and sunflowers are the principal crops he cultivates on some 200 hectares. He cites intelligent operator assistance systems, high precision and easy maintenance as the most important factors for his daily work in the field.
"With yield mapping and all the assistance systems, my combine harvester is a perfect fit for my farm."

David Lalonnier's farm has been in his family for several generations and is situated in a unique area: the Marais Poitevin, a dried marshland immediately adjacent to the Atlantic coast. The special characteristics of his land are reflected in the high requirements he has with regard to his CLAAS machine. "Our weather is largely determined by the Atlantic", he explains. "As this makes for ever narrower harvest windows, I decided on a machine able to deliver high performance." From the very start, he was struck by the working speed and the precision of his new combine harvester. Above all, he is impressed with the CEMOS operator assistance system.
