The reliable continuously variable CMATIC transmission transfers the torque straight to the axles. This means that you are always running at optimum output, whatever the speed. In the new 12 series we have further improved the tried and tested low-speed concept that we first introduced in 1997. As a result, the XERION 12.650 achieves maximum torque of 3100 Nm even at a low engine speed of just 1300 rpm.

To conserve resources, it's also important to match the weight of the machine to the task. CEMOS helps the operator find the correct ballast for every type of field work. The modular concept makes it easy to ballast the XERION and ensures that the machine is only ever as heavy as it needs to be. With the right machine settings and optimal ballast, you can increase your work rate by up to 16.3% during tillage and drilling.

With the new XERION you can choose between crawler tracks or dual tyres. The XERION TRAC is the only tractor in this segment with 42-inch dual tyres. They provide the largest contact area for optimal conversion of engine power to tractive power in the field. Alternatively, we have released the very first XERION TERRA TRAC. It features crawler tracks developed by CLAAS specifically for the XERION which efficiently transfer power to the ground. The soil is ultimately your farm's greatest asset.
