CLAAS will launch the new ARION 6 CMATIC in 2026 alongside the ARION 600 CMATIC. In technical terms, the tractor in the compact six-cylinder class is based on the mature and popular current series, whose flagship ARION 660 CMATIC in 2024 was not only a finalist in the Tractor of the Year, but has also been the best-selling model in the CLAAS tractor range for several years in a row. In the DLG PowerMix, the ARION 660 CMATIC impressed in 2024 with strong performance values and economical consumption - and significantly lower consumption values compared to the PowerMix average value for road transport work (profi 12/2024).
Smart power train for maximum performance and driver relief
The ARION 6.190 CMATIC is powered by a smooth-running 6.8-litre six-cylinder engine with up to 205 hp maximum output with CPM and a maximum torque of 849 Nm at 1,500 rpm. The additional power provided by CLAAS POWER MANAGEMENT (CPM) is now gradually activated in the new ARION 6.190 CMATIC from 185 to 205 hp and thus in line with demand, which increases effectiveness and efficiency in numerous tasks - for example during transport work and work with PTO-driven devices or implements with hydraulic drives or continuous pick-ups.
The CMATIC gearbox developed and built by CLAAS Industrietechnik is characterised by highly efficient power train management. In addition to first-class load reactivity and tuning of engine characteristics and transmission ratio, it has functions such as the automatic trailer stretch brake and the unique wheel loader mode for front loader work. The result: more performance in the field and on the road, more safety during transport work and full traction even when working with front loaders. The long wheelbase and balanced weight distribution ensure uncompromising power transmission to the ground and unrestricted work, even with heavy attachments.
The CEMOS operator assistance system is also available as an option for the ARION 6 CMATIC. Based on self-learning algorithms, it optimises area output and efficiency during field work in dialogue with the operator and helps with the correct ballasting and tyre pressure.
