High capacity and a clean harvest.
"What sets CLAAS machines apart is their high capacity and ability to produce a really good, clean harvest. Our CLAAS combine harvesters just work, and they always have done," explains farm manager Richie Jensen. On the Estate there are various types of soil to deal with – sandy, peat and clay – and a crop rotation that includes oilseed rape, wheat and barley along with clover and cocksfoot grasses. This diversity calls for flexible machines that can deliver outstanding performance under all conditions. Harvesting is further complicated by climatic features such as irregular rainfall and sea frets. "Our location here on the coast brings its own challenges," adds Richie Jensen. "Sometimes the sea fret forces us to complete the harvest earlier." Under conditions like this, the LEXION demonstrates its versatility, delivering consistently high quality results despite the changing conditions.
