Versatility: With four width options from 1.00 to 1.55 m, the tractor can navigate the narrowest of rows with ease. Three mounting points with a wide choice of hydraulic, electric and ISOBUS interfaces allow several implements to be used simultaneously – so multiple passes can be combined in one.
Reliability: long engine oil change intervals of 600 hours and transmission oil change intervals of 1,200 hours keep downtimes to a minimum.

With its unique CMOTION multifunction control lever with passive internal ventilation, sweaty hands and stiff joints are a thing of the past. No more awkward gear shifting: with the CMATIC continuously variable transmission, the NEXOS 2 CMATIC accelerates smoothly – always in the optimal speed range and entirely without manual shifting. The engine runs at just 1,530 rpm at the top speed of 40 km/h, saving fuel and making work satisfyingly quiet. In 'auto' mode, the CLAAS drive controller automatically adjusts the engine speed and gear ratio to ensure efficient and comfortable operation at all times. Two drive modes for field and road enable precise speed control – accurate to 0.1 km/h. And even on slopes, CMATIC comes into its own: thanks to active powered zero, you can stop and start as safely and easily as you can on level ground.

Compact and manoeuvrable: with its space-saving design and large steering angle, the NEXOS 2 CMATIC can master the tightest of turning manoeuvres with ease. Four-wheel drive can be automatically switched off at a specified steering angle to prevent the front wheels slipping and enable even smaller turning circles. Combined with dynamic steering, which notices reduces the steering effort, it protects the crop rows as well as the operator.
