QUADOTEX

QUADOTEX

CLAAS QUADOTEX twines have been developed in collaboration with CLAAS Technical Development to meet the requirements of large square balers. Just as the new generation of balers has proven itself in terms of throughput and bale density, CLAAS QUADOTEX baling twines also deliver top performance in terms of knot strength and knot security. With 11.5 kg reels, this twine range is ready for long and productive working days. Only with this top-quality CLAAS product can you reliably exploit the full potential of your high-performance baler. Can be used on QUADRANT 5300, 5200, 3400, 3300, 3200 and 4200 balers and large square balers from other manufacturers.

QUADOTEX XL

QUADOTEX XL is a high-performance twine with an extremely long meterage per reel and kilogramme (120 m). It is perfect for straw and silage bales that need to be baled at a high density.

BALETEX

BALETEX

CLAAS BALETEX is a family of selected baling twines manufactured from pure polypropylene that fully meet today's baling requirements under all conditions.

Suitable for use on the QUADRANT and MARKANT models and on machines of other manufacturers.

BALETEX XL

At last you can buy your baling twine by the metre and knot strength and not by the kilogram. CLAAS BALETEX XL is a twine for long working days, thanks to 1,400 metres of true meterage per 10 kg reel. This twine uniquely combines the tear strength of type 130 baling twine with a drastically increased meterage.

This combination, together with reels that fit into any large baler, results in an increase of 35% more twine per reel compared to the conventional size.

CLAAS BALETEX XL reduces the number of twine reel changes while maintaining the same tear strength, resulting in a noticeable increase in baler output. The twine design allows for a much better and tighter knot.

The price per metre is clearly lower, thus cutting the cost per bale:

  • reduced cost per bale (low price per metre of twine)
  • full baler performance (high baling pressure can be used)
  • more bales from one reel (1,400 m genuine meterage per twine reel)
  • no compromise in terms of tear strength and knot tightness (240 kg at knot)
  • low-wear and smooth running through your machine (smoother twine)

WRAPEX PRO

WRAPEX PRO

CLAAS WRAPEX PRO is the result of innovative manufacturing technology. This product uses the in-line thermal pre-stretching process of CLAAS pre-stretch technology to optimal effect, producing an advantageous structural compaction of the 7-layer blown film. WRAPEX PRO film is pre-stretched and highly compacted during production, resulting in a thinner film with valuable technical properties. Special treatment at controlled temperatures and a high-quality formulation consisting of more than 15 components ensure superior strength. The compacted structure of the stretched PE molecules inhibits the passage of oxygen. As a result, this 21 μm film provides an oxygen barrier comparable to that of a 25 μm film. Excellent adhesion, low air permeability and a very smooth surface are fundamental requirements for top silage quality.

With the WRAPEX PRO, we have set ourselves the goal of making bale silage even more efficient, ensuring maximum cost-effectiveness and top forage quality without compromise.

The benefits of WRAPEX PRO film at a glance:

  • Particularly reliable, airtight coverage of bales
  • Optimal adhesion for professional results
  • High tear strength in longitudinal and transverse directions
  • High puncture resistance
  • Reduced film costs

CLAAS COATEX

Net replacement film.

Your benefits when using CLAAS COATEX net replacement film:

  • No danger to animals from net residue sticking to feed
  • Improved oxygen barrier through additional film layers on the bale
  • Optimum preservation due to reduced air entrapment
  • Easy opening of the bales, as only one packaging material is used
  • Uniform packaging material facilitates joint disposal
  • Higher stability of the film surface for better mechanical protection during storage and transport
  • Cylindrical shape, allowing the bales to be stacked better and longer
  • Improved edge protection thanks to 1,400-mm-wide film roll

Facilitates handling and optimises the ensiling process.

With the introduction of the ROLLANT UNIWRAP 454 (type 769 with characteristic value H020100), it is now optionally possible to produce bale silage without using a round bale net.

CLAAS COATEX is the new solution! Combined with high-quality stretch film, highly compressed bales with a precise cylindrical shape can be produced while optimally preserving the energy and nutrient content of the forage.
