CEMOS AUTO KNIFE CONDITION:

The system monitors the condition of the knives continuously during chopping.

The system recommends the optimal time for you to sharpen the knives and the number of sharpening cycles necessary to provide the required degree of sharpness. A push of a button is all that is required to start the process.

CLAAS connect provides you with a georeferenced knife condition map for full transparency concerning the need for knife sharpening.

Benefits:

  • Consistently high chop quality
  • Higher throughput
  • Reduced fuel consumption
  • Optimal knife utilization
  • Knife condition map in CLAAS connect (georeferenced)

NUTRIMETER:

The new NUTRIMETER is a precision sensor for measuring dry matter and constituents on the spot in the field. NEW: The portable housing makes it easy to transfer the unit for use in multiple machines. Within the CLAAS connect package, it forms the basis for precise documentation and visualization of the crop. With automatic length-of-cut control and precise silage additive dosage, forage quality is assured.

CLAAS corn header adapter for the JAGUAR:

The CLAAS adapter for harvesting earlage allows a combine harvester corn header to be attached to the JAGUAR. The newly developed intake drum design increases the harvest yield of corn cob silage by up to 30 % (internal measurement in comparison to competitors). Used in combination with the integrated AUTO CONTOUR function, the corn header is able to maintain a consistent stubble height in uneven terrain, harvest losses are kept to a minimum and forage quality is improved to a significant degree. The adapter is ideal for high throughput rates and high-performance, cost-effective production of earlage.

NEW:

CEMOS AUTO CROP FLOW

The crop feed can be stopped automatically when a preset engine speed is detected, causing the feeder unit and front attachment to be switched off. This avoids downtime in critical harvesting conditions.

Drive power is tailored to the requirements of each front attachment.

Front attachment drive.

All the front attachment drives are integrated into the main drive train. This allows the front attachment drive, feeder drive, chopping cylinder speed, accelerator, and corncracker to react equally to engine speed fluctuations. The advantage for you is that a constant length of cut is always maintained.

Two independent, variable front attachment drives.

  • Suitable for PICK UP with two variable drives that are independent of each other for intake auger and pick-up
  • Variable drive for intake auger via quick-release coupler with speed adjusted automatically to match the length of cut and driving speed
  • Hydraulic drive for pick-up with automatic speed adjustment to match the driving speed

Drive power matched to your needs.

Mechanical drive.

  • For conventional use without the need for automated speed adjustments for consistent harvesting conditions
  • Driven by the chopping cylinder shaft—pure mechanical action with constant speed
  • Engaged via a belt clutch to the quick-release coupler

Split-power front attachment drive.

  • The front attachment is mechanically driven by the chopper cylinder shaft, with additional hydrostatic support and maximum power transmission at a constant speed.
  • Suitable for the direct mechanical drive of DIRECT DISC and corn pickers.
  • Removing the right-hand drive belt provides the front attachment with hydraulic variable speed adjustment for the PICK UP and ORBIS.
  • The variable speed adjustment—which can be automated—enables an even crop flow for top-quality chopped material

Variable front attachment drive.

  • For ORBIS corn headers and PICK UP
  • All-hydrostatic drive
  • Manual or automatic speed adjustment to the preset length of cut with low power requirement

We have an outstanding support team ready to help you!

CEMOS AUTO PERFORMANCE.

CEMOS allows you to harvest more efficiently—an improvement in the acre/hour (ha/h) rate of up to 7% with a 12% fuel saving is possible. To increase efficiency and reduce fuel consumption, the JAGUAR maintains the engine speed set by the operator and adjusts the engine output and driving speed to match the volume being harvested. When the volume being harvested increases, the driving speed is reduced. The engine power is automatically reduced when the volume being harvested decreases.

The benefits for you.

  • Constant engine speed for a constant harvesting process
  • Even crop flow for highly reliable operation
  • Lower fuel consumption as a result of operating in an efficient engine speed range
  • Smooth driving experience thanks to the absence of sudden load changes
  • Operator's workload is reduced in demanding harvesting situations

Four assistants steer with extreme precision during harvesting.

Dynamic steering for the JAGUAR.

The machine takes about five steering wheel turns to go from end stop to end stop. Many drivers prefer less effort steering when they have to turn at the end of the field. Thanks to the dynamic steering system, it's possible to go from straight-ahead running to end stop in only two-thirds of a steering wheel turn when traveling below 6.2 mph (10 km/h). The intensity of the dynamic steering response can be adjusted as required in CEBIS. This means that individualized settings can be programmed, with different responses possible based on whether the front attachment is in the working position or not.

Seeing with CAM PILOT.

The CAM PILOT takes over steering the JAGUAR in combination with the PICK UP. A twin-lens camera detects the swath as a three-dimensional image. Corresponding signals are transmitted to the steering mechanism in the event of deviations in the swath shape or direction. The steering axle then responds to these steering commands. This reduces driver workload at speeds up to nearly 10 mph (15 km/h).

Sensor-based steering with AUTO PILOT.

Even row-independent corn front attachments usually follow corn in rows—AUTO PILOT helps with this. Two sensor arms each scan a row of corn. The signals they generate are translated into corrective steering impulses. Twin-row sensing enables automatic steering in row widths from 15 up to 30 inches (37.5 up to 80 cm).

Guidance with GPS PILOT.

The GPS PILOT uses satellite signals to steer the JAGUAR reliably and with unbeatable precision along parallel tracks, curved contours at the crop edge, or reference lines defined by the operator. It is possible for the driver to make use of the full working width and to reduce overlaps significantly. You start the GPS PILOT via the multifunction lever. It actively controls the steering hydraulics and guides you across the field precisely at all speeds, regardless of the light conditions. It works at night or in low visibility just as precisely as it does in full daylight. You receive correction signals for any accuracy you require. Existing GPS track lines in ISO XML format—produced by a rake during grass harvesting or generated during corn sowing, for example—can be used with the JAGUAR GPS steering system.

Easier than ever.

Operation.

The JAGUAR can be operated without any prior knowledge (after reading the operators manual). This means that even new drivers will be able to operate the machine safely and reliably and unleash its performance capacity in no time at all.

The touchscreen CEBIS gives you quick access to all the machine's functions. You can even adjust the most important functions directly via switches in the armrest. Regardless of whether you are a bumpy-field driver or an inexperienced driver, precise operation is guaranteed under all conditions. You can adjust and operate the JAGUAR in four ways as required.

  • CEBIS responds immediately to a simple tap on the touchscreen. You have direct access to all the machine's functions, such as CEMOS AUTO PERFORMANCE.
  • Seven settings can be programmed as favorites and accessed via rocker switches on the CMOTION control lever. Therefore, you can concentrate on watching the front attachment and crop flow.
  • Even when operating in bumpy terrain, you can easily navigate through the CEBIS control panel using rotary/push switches and the escape and favorites buttons—for example, to adjust the length of cut.
  • You operate predefined basic functions directly via assigned switches—for example, to adjust the working width with the section switch.

V-FLEX chopping cylinder.

The heart of the CLAAS JAGUAR 900.

The V-FLEX chopping cylinder for the CLAAS JAGUAR 900 forage harvester offers outstanding cutting and chopping quality, flexibility, convenience and reliability. In developing the V-FLEX, which is now available as an optional alternative to the well-known V-MAX chopping cylinder, CLAAS has once again demonstrated its commitment to meeting the requirements of its customers. As well as applying years of work, testing and practical experience to the development of this enhanced unit, the CLAAS engineers drew on valuable feedback from our customers around the world. The V-FLEX cylinder delivers very precise and consistent chop quality. The steep, 10-degree knife angle makes for an easy, drawing cut and greater efficiency. Whatever the conditions, you can count on the new cylinder to provide highly consistent performance for both corn and grass harvesting.

Forage cutting with rigorous precision.

Silage quality.

Available in five variants, V-MAX chopping cylinders are ideally tailored to your requirements. With 42 knives and a cutting frequency increased to 25,200 cuts per minute, the V-MAX 42 chopping cylinder delivers particularly high throughput capacity at small chopping lengths.

When the motors power is fully utilized, it delivers a precise chop length with short lengths of cut from 3.5 to 12.5 mm. If you need longer chop lengths, reduce the number of blades by three. The V-MAX 42 is available as an option for the JAGUAR 990, 980, and 970.

MCC CLASSIC

MCC CLASSIC.

The conventional MCC CLASSIC is equipped with the proven sawtooth profile and operates as standard with a speed difference of 40%. This system can be used successfully when harvesting short corn for biogas plants or producing silage for dairy cattle and bull finishing. Adjusting the speed difference can increase the degree of kernel processing.

MCC MAX.

The MCC MAX rollers have 30 ring segments with a sawtooth profile. The arrangement and special geometry of the ring segments ensure that the crop is processed not only by crushing and reaming but also by cutting and shearing forces. This breaks up the corn kernels more intensively and shreds the stalk fragments.

Compared with conventional corn crackers, the MCC MAX has a much wider range in terms of chop length and dry matter. At the same time, it delivers extremely high-quality processing results. Its forage processing capability meets the most diverse customer requirements without the need to adapt the machine's equipment.

NEW: MCC MAX—four times stronger.

  1. Maximum service life thanks to a high level of wear protection with BusaCLAD coating
  2. Maximum kernel processing
  3. Maximum possible throughput capacity with JAGUAR 990 engine output of up to 925 hp
  4. Maximum flexibility to meet different requirements

7,808 acres (3,160 hectares) of corn in three harvests.

Contractor Meyer from Meppen-Apeldorn (Germany) will use the MCC MAX for a fourth corn harvest.

MCC SHREDLAGE

MCC SHREDLAGE®.

This technology was originally developed here in the US and is used on many farms around the world in the extremely long length-of-cut range from 1 to 1.2 inches (26 to 30 mm).

The rollers have a sawtooth profile with an additional counter directional spiral groove and operate with a speed difference of 50%. This enables the MCC SHREDLAGE® to grind the corn kernels thoroughly, chop up the cob fragments completely and shred the leaves effectively. In addition to these processing actions, the spiral groove subjects the stalk material to a lateral effect that causes the husk to be rubbed off the stalk. At the same time, the soft inner divider is shredded lengthways. SHREDLAGE® silage can be compacted very well, and the material meshes during storage, and spring-back effects are minimal.

SHREDLAGE® also for feeding feedlot steers.

The effects of feeding SHREDLAGE® to a steer when finishing have hardly been investigated to date. For this reason, Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences carried out a feeding trial with 72 Fleckvieh steers for the first time.

Feeding with SHREDLAGE® has a positive effect on the carcass yield. Higher conformation results in superior grading and a significantly lower fat score.

Improved livestock health is only one of many advantages that SHREDLAGE® offers you. As the availability of starch is optimized, you can reduce the quantity of feed concentrate used. It is also possible to limit or even eliminate the use of fiber supplements such as straw.

Water to prevent crop flow sticking issues.

Suppose you are harvesting crops with high sugar content. If this is the case, the programmed injection of water at specific points in the crop flow path—such as the feeder unit intake, guide plate, accelerator, and upper discharge chute—reduces the build-up of sticky material.

Water can be injected automatically as soon as the crop flow stops, at the headland—for example—or during forage transport trailer changeovers. The water from the 99-gallon (375 L) tank moistens the sticky material in the crop flow path. When the crop starts flowing again, the harvested material cleans the crop flow path. The ACTISILER 37 tank can then be used to add additional silage additive.

Power and intelligence from MAN and Mercedes-Benz.

AUTO FILL.

Innovation meets ease of use.

With AUTO FILL and its advanced features, your work is not only more efficient but also more convenient. The ability to change between silage trailers while AUTO FILL is discharging means you can easily change loading silage trailers on the move—significantly reducing your workload. By double-clicking on the AUTO FILL start button, the discharge flap opens at a pre-set angle, precisely directing the crop flow to the empty silage trailer driving alongside. AUTO FILL remains in standby mode and is reactivated when the camera no longer detects the full trailer. When discharging from the side, the AUTO FILL screen displays the point of impact of the crop stream in a virtual format. This gives you maximum visibility of the filling process.
