The technology of the DIRECT DISC with the MAX CUT mower bar enables precise cutting and optimal preparation of the harvested material for the forage harvester. With its wide range of possibilities for adjustment, such as the height-adjustable paddle roller and the optionally hydraulically adjustable crop press bars, the DIRECT DISC direct cut header offers a high degree of flexibility, in order to respond to the many different challenges encountered during harvesting.

The direct cut header is available in two variants. The DIRECT DISC 600 / 500 is particularly suited to high crop heights. The 600 P / 500 P variant is best suited to medium to low crop heights.

This is a particularly decisive advantage when harvesting tall crops such as sorghum, which can reach a height of up to 13 feet. The intake auger, combined with the powerful crop flow system, ensures that the harvested material is transported smoothly to the forage harvester, even under the most challenging conditions.

Adaptation to a wide range of field conditions.

Complementing the crop flow system, the delayed activation of the mowing unit allows the DIRECT DISC direct cut header to be switched on at full load, thereby further enhancing efficiency. The three-speed auger gearbox optimizes the crop flow for the prevailing harvesting conditions and the required length of cut. The externally driven MAX CUT mower bars, with the quick knife change system and SAFETY LINK modules, ensure safe and clean mowing.

The optimal ground contour following enabled by the mechanical lateral compensation and ground pressure control ensures that the DIRECT DISC direct cut header always delivers clean and consistent work quality.
