The APS SYNFLOW WALKER threshing system is gentle on the straw as a result of a particularly straight crop flow. The crop takes the shortest path through the threshing unit. The large diameters of the threshing and separator drums enable small contact angles and flat transitions between the drums. The outlet of the separator concave is larger than its inlet. The conical gap prevents the crop from building up and causing congestion. There is hardly any mechanical stress on the straw.

DYNAMIC POWER automatically adjusts the engine output of your LEXION to the operating conditions. This means you’re always running with the most efficient power curve when operating under partial load and can save up to 10% of fuel during swathing, for example. When working under maximum load, such as emptying the grain tank with the straw chopper on, maximum engine output is automatically maintained.

DYNAMIC POWER uses a variety of power curves depending on the engine load. For example, if the engine speed changes, the power is automatically adjusted accordingly.

All LEXION models are equipped with a 2-speed hydrostatic drivetrain with convenient gear selection via the buttons on the armrest. The high efficiency of the hydrostatic drive saves power for optimal use by the rest of the machine. Both the wheeled machines and the TERRA TRAC models can travel at up to 25 mph (40 km/h).

The secondary separation via the straw walkers occurs over a total length of 149 5/8 in (3,800 mm) across four straw walker steps. Even large volumes of straw are transported rapidly and loosely.

The JET STREAM cleaning system with its hydraulic fan speed variator and high-performance returns has plenty of performance capacity in reserve in all crop types. A dual-ventilated walker step enables intensive pre-cleaning. JET STREAM is controlled conveniently from the cab. You no longer have to adjust anything manually. As an option, you can put the JET STREAM cleaning function under the fully automatic control of CEMOS AUTO CLEANING.

With a volume of up to 3,566 gallons (13,500 l), the grain tank has a capacity to match the huge throughput of the LEXION.

At 48 gps (180 l/s) you can unload the large grain tank of the LEXION in record time. If you need to, you can also slow down the flow rate from 48 gps (180 l/s) to 24 gps (90 l/s), immediately stop the unloading process or turn off the augers gradually in order to completely empty the grain tank unloading tube first. − Reliable filling of the transport vehicles − No losses during unloading.

The power spreader lays down the straw precisely even with side winds, high straw flow, or on slopes. Two counter-rotating throwing rotors run at a constant speed. Chopped material and chaff are picked up, propelled and spread evenly. When laying windrows, the chaff blower turns outward, laying long straw windrows and a chaff-short straw mix separately. For straw spreading, the chaff blower directs the sieve box discharge straight into the power spreader for active spreading. The chopped straw and the sieve box discharge are spread across the full working width.

CEMOS AUTOMATIC is a self-learning operator assistance system that provides continuous, active support throughout the entire harvesting process. Based on the given harvesting specifications, such as grain quality, threshing quality, level of cleaning, straw quality and throughput, the system analyzes sensor feedback and settings during operation and optimizes your LEXION to maximize its performance.

The CEMOS DIALOG operator assistance system guides you through the optimal machine settings with prompts. If you confirm the suggestions, CEMOS DIALOG applies the settings directly. You are encouraged to check the settings more often and benefit from the knowledge gained. The combine harvester continuously informs you about optimization potential, shows the main throughput limitations and actively makes suggestions for performance improvement. For especially precise harvesting at the loss limit, CEMOS DIALOG can also assist with calibrating the loss sensors.

Steering systems are an essential tool in your everyday work. The LEXION can be equipped with three automatic steering systems, which you can employ depending on the job at hand: the digital AUTO PILOT, the satellite-based GPS PILOT CEMIS 1200 and the electro-optical LASER PILOT, which can also be equipped with the FIELD SCANNER on request.

The robust engine compartment cover makes it even easier to access the grain tank and to perform any necessary maintenance tasks. It’s slip-resistant and designed to be walked on. Handrails and a folding step provide additional safety.
