Even when Wilhelm was still behind the wheel late into the night in summer, working in lodged grain with heavy dew formation, his CLAAS combine harvester delivered an impressive high throughput. "In the front and out the back—the straight crop flow really impressed me," says Wilhelm. He is also impressed with the machine's high degree of flexibility. Once the classic summer grain harvesting activity in the North Rhine-Westphalia region in Germany had been completed, his machine was transported across the country to Brandenburg to harvest legumes. "A few adjustments and the changeover was complete," recalls Wilhelm.
