Durable: Powerful drives and HD chassis.
The CEREX 700 RC works with a consistent HD concept with robust, low-wear components. The HD frame has reinforced main load points, high-performance bearings and a cutting rotor drive via a heavy-duty duplex chain. The combination of selected components ensures maximum durability, even in hardness and continuous silage use. At the same time, vibrations are reduced.
The CEREX 700 RC is driven by a new HD split drive designed for up to 216 hp input power with 1,000 rpm and split power distribution from the main gearbox. The left strand goes to the drive for the bale chamber, while the right strand drives the cutting rotor via a duplex chain. This type of drive allows the transmission of higher torques, and enables a longer service life of the drive chains and overall increased reliability of the entire baler.
The central lubrication system is also designed for the most demanding and changing harvesting conditions. Customers can choose the extended PLUS centralised lubrication system as standard.
Thanks to adjustable tension rods, the drawbar can be infinitely adjusted to the tractor and the baler can always be aligned exactly horizontally for optimum performance. Connection to the tractor is quick and easy thanks to just three hydraulic hoses. These are clearly organised on a tray with function symbols.
Time-saving: even faster binding with hydraulic brake and "duckbill".
The CEREX 700 RC also sets new standards with its tying system. A hydraulic net brake ensures optimum net tension at all times, saving up to 15 per cent material - which is easy on the wallet and the environment. Thanks to the net storage on the side as well as at the front, there are always up to three additional net rolls on board, enough for even the longest working days. The net can be changed in just a few simple steps using the loading ramp. With ROLLATEX and ROLLATEX PRO, various heavy-duty wrapping nets with or without edge cover are available for the CEREX 700 RC.
The tying system of the CEREX 700 RC works with a so-called "duckbill". This feeding system in the form of a duckbill ensures that the net can be inserted quickly and precisely thanks to its pre-positioning. This saves valuable time when changing rolls, as there is no need for laborious threading.
Gentle on turf and soil: wheel sizes up to 1.17 m in diameter
The large-volume tyre equipment up to 620/50-22.5 is an important step towards optimum soil and sward protection. With a wheel diameter of up to 1.17 m, it is actually used on square balers and also offers excellent transport properties during road travel and first-class stability on slopes.
Intuitive: Comfortable and user-friendly in all respects
ISOBUS operation of the new CEREX 700 RC is via the familiar, clearly laid out CEMIS 700 terminal with a 7 inch colour display with touch function, 10 direct access buttons and a rotary pushbutton in the programme. Alternatively, the round baler can be operated via other suitable ISOBUS terminals.
During work, the operator benefits from an intuitive user interface: the main settings can be customised directly in the terminal's start menu - ideal for different operators or changing harvesting conditions. The intuitive operating concept can also be used to analyse bale counters by customer or cutting mode: A plus for transparency, invoicing and operational management.
The CEREX 700 RC also offers maximum operating comfort on longer working days: work lights, a good view of the MULTIFLOW pick-up and the integrated camera for bale monitoring support precise work even in the dark. The moisture sensor provides the operator with important information on harvest quality in real time. Particularly practical: A sensor on the length of the bale ramp signals in the terminal whether the bale has been placed correctly and whether the tailgate can be closed again - for uninterrupted work.
CEREX 780 in the cloud: digital machine management with a wide range of options in CLAAS connect.
The new CEREX 700 RC, like all other round balers from CLAAS, is networked via CLAAS connect using the cloud in the app or on the web. New machines are stored directly in the customer's CLAAS connect as part of the machine handover. This gives them continuous mobile access to digital operating instructions, the lubricant guide and the CLAAS Parts Shop for ordering original CLAAS lubricants, wear and spare parts. This means that users have everything in one place - no more misplaced operating manuals and tedious searches for suitable lubricants and spare parts. This service is free of charge for CEREX 700 RC customers in CLAAS connect and is available in both the web version and the app.
CLAAS connect also offers comprehensive machine and farm management functions that also support forage harvesting. For example, the integrated bale calculator makes it possible to calculate the required amount of net or twine so that you always have the right amount in stock. It is also possible to calculate the net or twine costs, which makes billing easier for contractors or inter-company use.
