Smart power train for maximum performance and driver comfort.
All three models in the ARION 6 CMATIC series are powered by a smooth-running 6.8-litre six-cylinder engine delivering up to 205 hp and a maximum torque of up to 849 Nm at 1,500 rpm. The additional power provided by CLAAS POWER MANAGEMENT (CPM) – exclusive to the ARION 6.190 CMATIC – is now activated variably and as required, which increases effectiveness and efficiency, for example, during transport operations and when working with PTO-driven devices or devices with hydraulic drives or continuous power take-offs. The low super-idle speed of 650 rpm reduces fuel consumption and noise levels when the machine is stationary.

Always optimally tuned, whether in the field, during front-loader operations or on the road: the CMATIC continuously variable transmission with high-end vehicle drive controller, automatic trailer overrun brake and wheel loader mode.

Developed and manufactured by CLAAS Industrietechnik, the CMATIC gearbox impresses with its highly efficient power train management and is designed for a long and trouble-free service life. In addition to first-class load responsiveness and the coordination of engine characteristic curves and gear shifting, it features functions such as the automatic trailer overrun brake and the unique wheel loader mode for front-loader operations. Furthermore, the power train management system is equipped with adaptive power train management, which was awarded a Silver Innovation Award at Agritechnica 2025. Thanks to the AUTO LOAD ANTICIPATION function, load spikes when lowering a tillage implement are detected in advance, and the engine speed is proactively increased – whilst simultaneously adjusting the transmission – before the load spike occurs. This ensures that handling remains stable even during dynamic changes and prevents drops in engine speed. Further functions regulate engine speed and gear shifting depending on load, driving speed and hydraulic demand. This ensures that the required power is delivered under all conditions of use, with optimised fuel consumption and uncompromising performance. The result is highly dynamic yet fuel-efficient handling, without the need for manual input or action from the driver.

The result: improved performance in the field and on the road, greater safety during transport operations and full traction even when working with a front loader. The long wheelbase and balanced weight distribution ensure uncompromising power transfer to the ground and unrestricted operation even with heavy implements.

The CEMOS DIALOG operator assistance system is also available as an option for the ARION 6 CMATIC. Based on self-learning algorithms, it works in dialogue with the driver to optimise area output and efficiency during field work and assists with correct ballasting and tyre pressure.

Working at a premium level: a comfortable suspension system and a quiet cab.
Numerous comfort features, such as the PROACTIV front axle suspension and the quiet, fully-suspended cab of the ARION 6 CMATIC, ensure stress-free and fatigue-free work even on long days. The controls are clearly laid out, and with the CMOTION multifunction lever, the driver has not only the driving controls but also eight freely assignable function buttons, as well as control of the rear linkage and CSM headland management, all within easy reach of one hand – without having to change grip.

The new premium driver’s seat, featuring a massage function, semi-active suspension and seat climate control, is available for all ARION 6 CMATIC models. On long working days spent sitting in the driver’s seat for extended periods with little change in posture – for example, during tillage or sowing – the massage function promotes the driver’s well-being and concentration, reduces muscle tension and thus supports good health. In addition, a new high-end multimedia system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and DAB+ is available for the ARION 6 CMATIC. The settings and monitoring of parameters in areas such as hydraulics, the lifting unit, ISOBUS-UT or CEMOS DIALOG are carried out intuitively and clearly via the standard CEBIS terminal in the right-hand armrest. Access and input are via either the touchscreen or a rotary control.

In the cab, features such as a driver’s seat with a massage function or the high-end multimedia system ensure long, relaxed and fatigue-free working days.

For precise track guidance using the GPS PILOT CEMIS 1200 as an intuitive steering terminal, the optimum reference lines can be planned in advance in CLAAS connect based on the field boundaries and sent to the machine online as a job, or now also shared directly from machine to machine – for example, from the ARION 6.190 CMATIC with a DISCO swath merging mower combination, to the following JAGUAR forage harvester. The new Auto RefLine function automatically detects the appropriate or logical reference track based on the vehicle’s position and direction of travel, and automatically switches between different reference tracks. This means that the driver does not need to intervene manually to switch tracks – for example, when switching to headland reference tracks or when working on wedges with a different reference track – making the job significantly easier.

During field work, the optional dynamic steering system provides relief to the driver. The number of steering wheel turns is roughly halved from one steering stop to the other – a noticeable benefit, particularly during tight turning manoeuvres at the headland.

What’s more, a new lighting concept featuring up to 20 LED lights and new step lighting on the cab access steps turns night into day when needed, making getting on and off the machine in the dark a safe affair.

From machine management to Precision Farming: digitally connected via CLAAS connect.
From machine configuration, purchase processing, access to product documentation and the lubricant guide, through to maintenance planning and documentation, right up to cross-manufacturer fleet management, application maps and other smart farming applications:

Depending on the licence, CLAAS connect also enables comprehensive connectivity for the new ARION 6 CMATIC, with automated documentation and access from the office or via a mobile device whilst on the move. Basic features such as machine position, machine performance data, the lubricant guide and direct access to the CLAAS Parts Shop for ordering suitable wear and spare parts can be significantly expanded with Farm connect, Fleet connect and Field connect licences:

  • Clear job management: Jobs are conveniently created in CLAAS connect and accessed on the CEMIS 1200. Jobs can be documented and managed directly on the machine.
  • Automatic documentation: Field work can be documented automatically without the need to create jobs, ensuring a comprehensive database.
  • Real-time information: Machine position and status, as well as current machine data, settings and performance figures, can be viewed on the go from anywhere. This enables, for example, convenient navigation to the machine’s location. Furthermore, whilst jobs are being carried out, CLAAS connect informs the user how long the work in the field is expected to take – regardless of how many machines are currently working in the field.
  • Analysing and optimising: Detailed analyses enable optimisations and comparisons between different machines of the same design within the vehicle fleet – particularly important for contractors and large-scale farms.

If a CLAAS connect ID is already in use on the farm, the ARION 6 CMATIC is simply added to the existing machine fleet and is then connected free of charge with a Machine connect licence for an initial period of 5 years. If the farm does not yet have a CLAAS connect ID, one can be created upon purchase of the tractor.

From machine management to Precision Farming: CLAAS connect also opens up numerous digital possibilities for the ARION 6 CMATIC, enabling tasks to be carried out more easily and efficiently and documented automatically.
