By linking to the Online File Transfer API, you enable farmers, contractors, and agronomists to transfer task data directly from the farm management software to the machine terminal—and vice versa.

The API-Scope

As a CLAAS connect API partner and with the customer's consent, the Online File Transfer API scope can be leveraged to seamlessly exchange ISOXML task data with CLAAS machines.

The API uses REST services, OAuth2, and supports ISOXML task data according to ISO Standard 11783.

With the ISOXML data format, you can use any payloads and work orders that comply with the ISOXML standard, including field boundaries, AB-lines, application maps, yield data, etc.

The main use cases are:

Retrieval of a list of machines within a customer organization in CLAAS connect that are enabled for online file transfer.
Sending ISOXML tasks to one or multiple machines for activation and processing by the operator on the ISOBUS terminal.
Retrieval of ISOXML tasks documented by the operator on the ISOBUS terminal.
