CEMOS stands for CLAAS electronic machine optimisation system. It is the umbrella term for all CLAAS systems which continuously optimise machine performance. For several years CEMOS has been the leading operator assistance system for CLAAS combine harvesters, forage harvesters and tractors.

Two silver medals for CEMOS at the Agritechnica Innovation Award 2022.

In 2022 the DLG's Agritechnica Innovations Commission awarded a silver medal to two CLAAS innovations. The judges were particularly impressed by two systems: the intelligent software based on the Terranimo® model which calculates and displays the risk of soil compaction and is fully integrated into CEMOS for Tractors, and the CEMOS AUTO HEADER, which automatically adjusts CLAAS VARIO cutterbars.

The CEMOS operator assistance system has been optimising the settings of CLAAS tractors, forage harvests and combine harvesters for many years – maximising quality, efficiency and productivity.

CEMOS for Tractors is a self-learning operator assistance and machine optimisation system for tractors. It includes an implement assistant to optimise plough and mower settings. The system also features a continuous, dialogue-based optimisation process designed to increase the efficiency and productivity of fieldwork.

CEMOS AUTOMATIC for combine harvesters features automated functions that actively support operators throughout the entire work process. The system checks sensors and settings on the basis of agro-economic parameters such as grain quality, threshing quality, standard of cleaning, straw quality and throughput. Simply specify your requirements in terms of grain quality and loss level in advance.

CEMOS AUTO PERFORMANCE fundamentally changes harvest management for forage harvesters. By maintaining a constant engine speed and adjusting the engine output and ground speed, the operator assistance system increases efficiency by up to 7% and enables a remarkable fuel saving of 12% under partial load. Operators benefit from even crop flow, reduced fuel consumption and pleasant driving characteristics without sudden load changes.
