Residual grain separation occurs over a total length of 4,400 mm across four straw walker steps. The TRION 600 series is equipped with six straw walkers while the TRION 500 series has five. Centre and side extensions are available. Even large volumes of straw are transported quickly and easily.
MSS loosens the straw.
Even under difficult conditions, MSS ensures effective residual grain separation. In wet straw or green growth, for example, thorough agitation of the straw mass is critical for high separation efficiency. This is why all TRION straw walker machines are equipped with the MULTIFINGER SEPARATION SYSTEM (MSS). This uses a drum with controlled tines positioned above the straw walkers to loosen the crop.
MSS controls the crop flow actively.
Multiple controlled tines reach into the mat of straw from above and agitate the straw. This thins the straw mat, allowing the residual grains to be separated at an early stage. As a result, the available length of the straw walkers is used more effectively, while the structure and quality of your straw is optimised. You can adjust the intensity of the tine action in accordance with changing harvest conditions.
