Farmers and contractors aim to centralize their data to enable faster decision-making. The Tracker API scope assists in achieving this goal. As a provider of telemetry hardware and software, this API scope allows you to integrate a wide range of machine categories and telemetry data into CLAAS connect.

As a CLAAS connect API partner, and with the customer's consent, you simplify fleet management and documentation for our mutual customers. The transmitted telemetry devices and their measurements are represented analogously to CLAAS machines in CLAAS connect, enabling real-time tracking and comprehensive documentation.

The API-Scope

The API uses REST services, OAuth2, and a JSON data format.

Through this API scope, you can transfer telemetry data from your software to the desired customer organization in CLAAS connect.

The main use cases are:

Transmitting a machine list including machine type, name, brand & model
Transmitting GPS positions
Transmitting other relevant measurement values associated with the GPS position
