The CLAAS CEREX 700 features an HD design throughout with robust, low-wear components. Its HD frame boasts reinforced main load points, a rotor drive via a duplex chain and high-performance bearings. This maximises durability, even in tough silage applications. At the same time, vibrations are reduced.
The CEREX 700 is driven by an HD split drive operating at 1,000 rpm, which is connected to the main gearbox via a split power train. The left train goes to the chamber drive and the right train goes to the rotor. The HD split drive can transmit up to 216 hp. Drive via a duplex chain improves torque transmission and extends the service life of the drive chains, increasing baler reliability.
