Automatic settings with CEMOS AUTO HEADER.

CLAAS has developed an additional function for the CEMOS AUTOMATIC assistance system to reduce the operator's workload during combining operations. CEMOS AUTO HEADER automatically adjusts cutterbar settings such as table length and vertical/horizontal reel position to suit the threshing conditions.

The control system uses data from a laser sensor and oscillation data acquired by the material feed height sensor in the feeder housing – resulting in even crop feed to the combine and improved threshing performance which enables sustained operation at full capacity.

What are the advantages of CEMOS DIALOG?

The CEMOS DIALOG operator assistance system guides you to the optimal machine setup. Suggested settings confirmed by you are implemented directly by CEMOS DIALOG.

How does AUTO CROP FLOW work?

AUTO CROP FLOW continuously monitors the speeds of the threshing unit, secondary separation and engine. If the preset slip limit is overshot, the system automatically takes measures to prevent any more material from entering the machine. In this way, downtime because of blockages or damage is avoided and components are not overloaded.

How does AUTO SLOPE help on uneven ground?

Steep terrain is a challenge for the grain cleaning system. Uphill, the fan speed has to be reduced, downhill it has to be increased. AUTO SLOPE reduces your workload by controlling the fan speed on the basis of the longitudinal tilt.

  • Increases throughput and reduces grain loss on slopes
  • Maintains consistent cleaning performance at all times
  • Maintains crop flow in the cleaning system

How does CRUISE PILOT work?

The optimal harvesting speed increases your productivity. CRUISE PILOT controls it automatically on the basis of the engine load. You can choose from three strategies:

  1. Maximum throughput with loss monitoring: always harvest at the machine's performance limit.
  2. Constant throughput: all the key assemblies are subject to consistent loading even under changing conditions.
  3. Cruise control: harvest at a constant speed

How does CEMOS AUTO CLEANING optimise grain cleaning?

The fan speed and the upper and lower sieve opening are the parameters by which CEMOS AUTO CLEANING regulates grain cleaning. In the background, the system continuously tests various settings to optimise performance. If parameters such as yield, grain quality, throughput or moisture change, CEMOS AUTO CLEANING responds immediately.

How does CEMOS AUTO THRESHING affect thresher performance?

The system improves the performance of the threshing unit and primary separation. It controls the threshing concave clearance and the threshing drum speed fully automatically. Running in the background, it uses data provided by numerous machine sensors to compare all relevant settings in order to optimise performance.

How does CEMOS AUTO SEPARATION improve secondary separation ?

CEMOS AUTO SEPARATION continuously optimises secondary separation in CLAAS HYBRID combine harvesters. It automatically re-adjusts the rotor speed and the position of the rotor flap to reflect any changes in harvesting conditions. Without the operator being aware, CEMOS AUTO SEPARATION tests various settings in the background and selects the best one.
