“This machine is a great discovery for us,” says Leon Schade, a mechanic and driver at Stotz Contractors in Germany, who has come to enjoy sharpening knives. “We're all very happy that our boss has bought this machine. And if I’m completely honest, our sharpening quality could have been better, but now we get it.” The outstanding sharpening quality produced by the machine was a key argument that convinced CEO Peter Stotz to buy the fully automatic system: “I used to sharpen knives myself, so I know how much effort it takes. I also know very well that even semi-automatic machines will never come close to the sharpening precision of the CLAAS machine.”
