Indeed, 15 years ago CLAAS set new standards in this area, with sealed camtracks offering continuous oil or low-viscosity grease lubrication, hermetically sealed against foreign objects and thus totally maintenance-free – the promise made was for performance without compromise. This is a promise which CLAAS has kept right up to the present day. And this promise has not merely been kept, it has even been bettered. The new CLAAS socket swather series is an attractive proposition, sticking to a proven design, while improving its performance level in every area.
Long-running cam track
The hallmark of the CLAAS LINER family is a uniform, clean swath. This working precision relies on the intelligent tine control system. - Continuously lubricated, hermetically sealed control head.
- Steel cam rollers run in liquid lubricant or in oil.
- Completely maintenance-free, minimum wear, maximum service life and years of reliable service.

Thanks to the wide diameter of the curved path, the cam track rollers are not subjected to any leverage forces. Thus movement is smooth in all conditions, greatly increasing the service life of the cam track rollers.

 Contour tracking.
Three-dimensional, clean and powerful – contour tracking. - Both rotors are free to move independently of the chassis.
- Three-dimensional tracking of uneven ground by the fully floating suspension, parallel and at right angles to the direction of travel.
- The tines always stay parallel to the ground, ensuring completely clean raking at any speed.

In this way, the CLAAS COMMUNICATOR assists you in every situation. - A single control panel for the CLAAS QUADRANT, VARIANT, ROLLANT UNIWRAP, CARGOS, LINER 3000 and 4000.
- Uniform control elements.
- Easy connection and automatic recognition of the hitched machine.
- Logical program structure and therefore very simple operation.
- Individually adjustable: working width, working height, lift height on headland, time delay for raising and lowering the rotor on the headland.
- Individual rotor lift: one or both rotors on a side; one or both rotors front or rear - whichever is desired.
- Standard hydraulic height adjustment for rotors.
