"With our LEXION, we can harvest more acres per day by working later at night."

“We straight cut just about all of our wheat and canola. When we first started looking at combines, we couldn’t find one suitable for our conditions — that is, where the crop doesn’t cure out 100 percent, such as in the hollows.

“In tough conditions, the LEXION is better than anything else. It sets up nicely and handles the crop evenly, whether the crop is green or dry. The LEXION doesn’t thump and grind like other combines. It has never bogged out and the crop flows through the machine well.

“When it comes to capacity, we like to harvest so many acres per day. Previously, we had to have an extra combine. Now with the LEXION, we don’t need it. The nights get long in the fall and dew forms quickly, so harvest conditions can get tough at night. With our LEXION, we can harvest more acres per day by working later at night.

“The pre-separation system is a great feature. That’s what actually sold us on the LEXION combine. Plus, the engine is impressive. It has excellent torque and doesn’t slow down going up a hill when we’re harvesting. A nice function is that the LEXION automatically drops the horsepower if it’s starting to get plugged up or too warm – now, that’s great engineering!”
