At speeds between 1,600 and 1,700 rpm, the powerful six-cylinder 335 HP / 247 kW engine from Caterpillar is not for the fainthearted. Even at low speeds between 1,500 and 1,700 rpm, this engine provides close to top tractive power and could easily be compared with a Caterpillar tractor. The incredibly powerful torque of 1,450 Nm at 1.500 rpm puts the XERION 3300 at the top of the 300 HP class.

In conventional tractors, the engine and transmission have a supportive function due to the chassis construction. The XERION 3300 is different. This tractor is fitted with a robust chassis. The engine and transmission unit are mounted on rubber pads. This ensures that the vibrations of the machine are not transferred directly to the cab.

Heavy attachments on the front and rear hydraulics are supported by the frame and their weight is distributed evenly over the four large tires.
