Sealed camtracks have existed for a long time. Indeed, 15 years ago CLAAS set new standards in this area, with sealed camtracks offering continuous oil or low-viscosity grease lubrication, hermetically sealed against foreign objects and thus totally maintenance-free – the promise made was for performance without compromise. This is a promise which CLAAS has kept right up to the present day.

The new raking generation.

The proven closed swather socket, which has been tested over thousands of hectares, has been improved for the new swather generation to increase the machines' performance and durability even further.

  • Robust cast housing.
  • Strongest cam track arms on the market, with a large tube diameter and walls constructed from strong materials.
  • The tine arm bending point is located outside of the socket so that, in case of impact damage, the socket does not have to be opened for repairs; only the tine arm needs to be replaced.
  • Sturdy dual bearings on the tine arm to guard against horizontal and vertical loads, thus protecting the cam track rollers - large, wear-resistant tine arm slide bearings.
  • In the case of the LINER 2900 14-arm swath gearbox, forces on the cam track arms and cam track rollers are minimised, even for high loads, by an additional bearing housing.

PROFIX tine arm bracket.

Comes as standard on all LINER 2700 / 2800 / 2900:

  • Easy-release bracket for the tine arms.
  • Multiple grooves on the tine arms for perfect, firm seating without play or wear.
  • Marking arrow acts as an insertion aid for removed tine arms.

  • All components of the PROFIX tine arm bracket can be replaced quickly and economically, should the need arise.

Contour tracking.

Three-dimensional, clean and powerful - contour tracking.

  • Both rotors are free to move independently of the chassis.
  • Three-dimensional contour tracking both laterally and in the direction of travel.
  • The tines always stay parallel to the ground, ensuring completely clean raking at any speed.
  • 4-wheel running gear as standard with wheels closely positioned at the tines and a gimbal-mounted front axle.
  • No matter what ground conditions you are faced with when raising or lowering the LINER rotors, plunging the tines into the ground is a thing of the past.

Transport.

Carry on - without leaving the cab. On the LINER 2600 and 2700, the transport height without removing the tine arms is already less than 13ft. (4 m). The rotors are secured using a mechanical transport locking device with a pull rope.

On the LINER 2800 and 2900, after folding, the rotors are automatically secured at the same time using a locking device.

Thus the permissible transport height of 13ft. (4 m) can be achieved without removing the tine arms. Extremely stable handling, thanks to the machine's lower centre of gravity, guarantees safe transport even at high speeds.

Highly maneuverable.

As the tractor is steered, the action is passed to the high flotation steer wheels fitted to the extra strong main chassis via the control linkage. The steering enables the swather wheels to follow the path of the tractor closely, even at high speeds.

The angled wheel connection reduces the required steering force to a minimum. Reduced tire-wear, steering free of play and

maneuverability are all included.
