LINER 3100

LINER 3100 = maximum work rate + optimum forage quality.

The LINER 3100 opens up new dimensions in every respect. It reliably offers the best swath output in the shortest time and is also quick to transport between jobs, without having to get out even once - this is unique to the CLAAS professional series center rake.

Of course, to serve as the ideal precursor to a forage harvester, a very high working output is required. It must be possible to swath quickly, while at the same time maintaining the high forage quality.

Adjustment.

  • Infinitely hydraulically adjustable working width from 28.5' to 32.8' (8.7 m to 10.0 m), seen from a scale at the rotor arm.
  • Scale on the central tube of the chassis for setting the working height.

GRASS CARE.

Contour tracking concept.

  • Gimballed rotors.
  • 6-wheel chassis with additional tandem axle for particularly precise gauging of any ground contour.
  • Trailing steering wheels for even better contour tracking.

Transport.

  • Ability to reduce the transport height to 13.1 ft. (4 m) by hydraulically lowering the rotors in their folded state without leaving the cab.
  • The machine has a low centre of gravity due to the rotors being telescopically retracted downwards in their transport position and consequently more stable handling.
  • Transport lock automatically released on deployment of the rotors.
  • Set of large tires for transport (15/55-17).
  • Highly manoeuvrable.

CLAAS STANDARD TERMINAL.

  • Optional single-rotor lifting, controlled via a three-way valve.
  • Electrohydraulic single-rotor lifting, operated conveniently without the need for ropes, using the new CLAAS Standard Terminal or any other ISOBUS-capable control terminal, e.g. CLAAS COMMUNICATOR.

Technology in detail.

  • 2-point inverted U – frame for maximum clearance of the single wide angle universal drive shaft
  • Drive train located entirely on the outside and at an accessible height.
  • Sophisticated gear transmission ratio ensures that the drive train is subjected to the lowest loads and has the longest service life possible.
  • Integrated freewheel mechanism fitted as standard enables freewheeling even in transport position.
  • Individual protection of the rotor against overload via a friction clutch.
  • 250-hour lubrication interval for drive shaft universal joints.
  • 14 removable tine arms with PROFIX quick change system.
  • Automatic hydraulically folding swath guard for maximum ground clearance.
