Transmission

ZF provides the strongest split power transmission available on the market: the ZF Eccom 3.5 fully reversible, continuously variable transmission.

A strong transmission.

The ZF Eccom 3.5 ensures a highly efficient conversion of the installed engine performance:

  • Shifting across 4 cruising ranges without power interruption in both directions
  • Already 50 km/h at reduced fuel-saving engine speed of 1,700 rpm

  • Additional PTO for performance hydraulics possible

Direct drive train.

The XERION is equipped with a clearly defined, simply structured drive train, ensuring a permanent all-wheel drive and designed to manage the most difficult tasks, e.g. when using a forest milling cutter:

  • Direct transfer of engine performance to the transmission via a short shaft
  • Highly efficient power transfer
  • Longitudinal and transverse differential lock
  • Direct power transfer also to the power take-off attachment
