Standard cutterbar

Thanks to its diverse usage possibilities, a CLAAS combine harvester is always a cost-efficient investment. The universal interface reduces setup times thanks to the quick and easy attachment and removal of front attachments. To completely attach the cutterbar, you simply have to connect three components: The multicoupler, drive shaft, and central locking.

The finger bar is driven by a low-maintenance oil-bath transmission. The extremely robust knife drive has a knife stroke of 1,120 strokes per minute. The chains and belts are tensioned fully automatically.

All CLAAS cutterbars are delivered with a spare knive. The blades are made from hardened metal and are therefore subject to low levels of wear. In the CLAAS knife system, which is available from the Spare parts department, the finger bar is divided into segments. The cutting blades and knife heads are screwed on. If necessary, all components can be replaced extremely quickly.

The large, sturdy reel has reel tines made from spring steel. The shape of the reel tine mount and the reel core prevent the crop from wrapping around the reel, thus ensuring an optimum product flow.
