CLAAS is once again enlarging the range of harvesters for grass and lucerne this year and now offers one of the largest ranges on the market. As a result, CLAAS offers DISCO disc mowers with working widths from 2.10 m - 14.00 m both for small farms with own machinery and for agricultural contractors.

DISCO 2700 RC CONTOUR

Working in leafy forage, such as lucerne, continues to impose high demands on farmers and machinery. For this reason, CLAAS has enlarged its range to include a new model, the DISCO 2700 RC CONTOUR with a working width of 2.60 m. The roller-type conditioner ensures gentle conditioning to protect the soft, nutrient-rich leaves of the lucerne forage. The stems are adequately crushed by the rubber rollers with their V-profile.

Like all mowers in the DISCO CONTOUR series, the DISCO 2700 RC CONTOUR features the hydropneumatic relief function ACTIVE FLOAT. This technical feature transmits the frictional resistance of the mower to the tractor wheels where it is transformed into rolling resistance. In addition to cutting fuel consumption, this also minimizes contamination of the forage.

The tried-and-tested P-CUT cutter bar of the DISCO mowers is characterized by high cutting quality, exceedingly wear-resistant components and the SAFETYLINK safety module.
