JAGUAR History![]() 1973 - How it all began.In June 1973 CLAAS began the production of the legendary JAGUAR 60 SF of which 500 units were produced until the end of 1975. ![]() 1983 - the Jaguar performs.Until the end of 1983, an additional 2,700 self-propelled forage harvesters left the production line. These machines instantly became a leading product in this field. ![]() 1984 - the 600 series.New standards in foraging technology were set in 1984 with the JAGUAR 675, 680, 685, 690, 695 MEGA and 682. ![]() 1993 - the 800 series.In order to satisfy market demand and to increase customer satisfaction, the models JAGUAR 820, 840, 860, 880 were introduced in 1993. ![]() 1994 - the 10,000th JAGUAR.By 1994 the magic 10,000 threshold had been broken in terms of the number of JAGUARs produced. To mark the occasion, the marketing team created a jubilee machine.JAGUAR ![]() 1998 - the 15,000th JAGUAR.At the end of 1998, the 15,000th JAGUAR came off the production line.Over a thousand customers a year have chosen JAGUAR foragers, putting themselves and CLAAS in the pole position. ![]() 2000 - the 900 generation.The march of progress does not stop with the JAGUAR either. The 900 generation of machines serves to prove this: With a further increase in power, improved chop quality and greater driver efficiency, CLAAS has once again succeeded in satisfying customer requirements. ![]() 2004 - the 20,000th JAGUARSuccess 20,000 times over – CLAAS JAGUAR ![]() 2005 - JAGUAR GREEN EYE2005 is the year of the JAGUAR GREEN EYE. A number of technical innovations to again improve productivity and efficiency. ![]() 2006 - New corn header ORBIS.With ORBIS 750 and ORBIS 600, CLAAS is introducing two series-independent corn headers onto the market which will provide completely new levels of efficiency in your corn harvest. |
