2012-05-02 - CLAAS and HORSCH set world record in maize drilling
Harsewinkel, 02.05.2012. Since 28 April, CLAAS and Horsch have jointly held the world record in the precision drilling of maize. Inside 24 hours, a total area of 448.29 hectares was tilled and fertilised simultaneously by means of a XERION 5000 and a Maestro 24.70 SW single-grain seed drill.
2012-03-22 - New paint installation for UCF: The foundation has been laid
Higher capacity, better quality, greater flexibility and even more ecofriendly – these are the four main attributes of the new paint installation at the CLAAS plant in Metz, the foundation for which was laid at the end of February in the presence of Helmut and Reinhold Claas.
2012-03-09 - MBB Industries AG acquires CLAAS Fertigungstechnik GmbH
Berlin/Beelen, 9 March 2012. MBB Industries AG (Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm), Berlin, acquires 100% oft the shares of CLAAS Fertigungstechnik GmbH, Beelen, a subsiduary of CLAAS KGaA mbH. A respective purchase agreement – subject to conditions precedent – has been signed by the parties today. It has been agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The final closing is expected to take place before the end of the second quarter of 2012.
2012-01-20 - 2nd International CLAAS Biogas Symposium receives a strong response
