Harsewinkel. At its latest meeting in Harsewinkel, the Supervisory Board of CLAAS KGaA elected a new President. Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser was appointed as the new President of the Supervisory Board. She thus takes over from her father, Helmut Claas, who had been President since 1995, when the legal form of the company was changed to a KGaA (commercial partnership limited by shares).
Jürgen Schmidt, 1st authorised representative of IG Metall (Münster), was elected as the new Deputy President of the Supervisory Board. Jürgen Schmidt thus takes the place of Guntram Schneider, who left in January and, since the state election in North Rhine-Westphalia, is now the new Minister for Work, Integration and Social Affairs for North Rhine-Westphalia.
A new member had already in spring been appointed as a new member of the CLAAS Supervisory Board: Christian Ernst Boehringer, Chairman of the Shareholders’ Committee of the pharmaceuticals company Boehringer in Ingelheim. Christian Ernst Boehringer replaced Dr. Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller (company Trumpf, Ditzingen), who had supported the company in the Supervisory Board with great knowledge and success for five years.
