Compact, mobile and powerful, the new ELIOS tractor has been developed by CLAAS to meet individual customer requirements, making the ELIOS ideal for livestock farmers, grassland farmers and vegetable farmers alike. The ELIOS will also be suitable for customers outside the farming sector where there is demand for smaller tractors up to 100 HP.

Every user can configure his ELIOS to suit his own specific needs. Anything goes - from the standard specification to higher hydraulic power and deluxe transmission. All models are also available without all-wheel drive. The ELIOS was designed specially for routine everyday work. The ELIOS is ideal for yard work and in confined spaces thanks to its tight turning circle of just 3.73 metres. It also has excellent stability on slopes thanks to its low centre of gravity. Its low overall height to the top of the cab of 2.40 metres means it can also be used in low-roofed farm buildings. The cabless version is ideal for working in greenhouses.

With power outputs from 72 to 88 HP, the 3.2 litre four-cylinder engine of the ELIOS runs quietly, reliably and economically. The engines meet the TIER 3 emissions regulations due to internal exhaust gas recirculation, turbo, intercooler (except the 210) and a mechanical injection system.

Maximum torque of up to 350 Nm ensures the ELIOS has enough power in reserve to handle even tricky situations. As standard the ELIOS is fitted with a 540/1000 and synchronised PTO. Beyond that, the 540/540E specification is available which provides high diesel economy and low noise during light PTO work.

Up to three hydraulic pumps and a hydraulic capacity of 85 litres per minute at the rear linkage and at the four spool valves enables the ELIOS to open up new possibilities. For the driver, this means comfortable and stress-free work, particularly when using the front loader and when working in barns. Furthermore, diesel consumption and hydraulic load are considerably lower, because the tractor runs at lower engine speed. For enhanced comfort and precision, the ELIOS has up to four electronic spool valves, two of which can be operated by joystick. This makes working with the front loader even easier.

The cab of the ELIOS offers a high level of comfort. The wide-opening door, the comfortable grab handles and the self-cleaning step provide easier cab access. Thanks to a wide range of seat and steering wheel adjustments, any driver can find the driving position which suits him best. In addition to this, an air-sprung seat and air conditioning are standard in the ELIOS. The easily identifiable controls enable the ELIOS to be operated intuitively even by different drivers. The TCE 6 electronic control unit of the rear linkage is designed to provide even greater precision. The overall ergonomics of the cab allow for a relaxed body posture, enabling the driver to maintain a maximum of concentration even on long working days.

Daily maintenance can be carried out quickly and with a minimum of effort. This is made possible by the one-piece engine cover and by the easy accessibility of the engine and cab air filters. A major advantage of the new ELIOS is its extra-long maintenance intervals. The 600-hour engine oil service intervals keep downtime and cost to a minimum.
